8-Week Summer Internship Program

PINC Internship Summer program is designed to leave you with a resume with a competitive edge. Please find key aspects of the PINC 8-week Summer Program explained below. Quick Overview

 

  • Saturday May 19, 2018 – Saturday July 14, 2018
  • Intensive Spanish classes (20+ hours)
  • Cultural Activities (including language exchanges & networking events)
  • 3 days & 2 nights in Barcelona (transportation, transportation to housing, housing, breakfast and City Manager included)
  • Professional Development Workshops, Mentorship, Networking Events, and Meet & Greets.
  • 6-week internship placement – Monday to Thursday at an International Company based in Madrid!

 

Price Includes: housing, international insurance & international student discount card (valid for one year), UNLIMITED month metro card, SIM card with data, pre-departure orientation, welcome pack, airport pick up, welcome luncheon, breakfast snacks, and a 24/7 City Manager solely for all PINC students. 

 

PROGRAM BREAKDOWN

 

PRE-PROGRAM:

  • Review application and schedule a phone chat.
  • After acceptance status, we send you an intake information form.
  • Assistance with booking flight.
  • Host a virtual pre-departure orientation with the group.
  • Airport pick-up: Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport. ARRIVAL for the morning of Saturday 19 May 2018 (this often means that you need to book a flight the day before on Friday 18 May 2018).

 

Price Includes: housing, international insurance & international student discount card (valid for one year), UNLIMITED month metro card, SIM card with data, pre-departure orientation, welcome pack, airport pick up, welcome luncheon, breakfast snacks, and a 24/7 City Manager solely for all PINC students. 

 

DURING PROGRAM:

  • LOGISTICS:
    • Shared housing (Safe neighborhood, fully-furnished, Wi-Fi, cleaner)
    • 24/7 on-site/live-in City Manager for all 4 cities
      • One manager focuses on logistics and support
      • One manager focuses on support and photography – 2 weeks
    • Lisette Miranda, the CEO, will also be in Madrid accessible to students
    • Airport arrival pick-up and assistance organizing drop-off to airport
    • UNLIMITED one-month metro card (metro & buses)
    • SIM card with 2GB data
    • PINC Mobile App: A support tool with emergency contacts, guides, and schedule
    • International travel insurance (valid for one year)
    • International student discount card (valid for one year)
    • Pre-departure orientation: online group Q&A about packing, arrival and first days
    • Welcome pack with maps, local discount cards, SIM, metro pass, etc.
    • Basic apartment necessities (sponges, dish & hand soap, detergent, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner)

  • Travel*: Most weekends are free so the interns are able to travel. Interns have ventured to France, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, around Spain and more! PINC representatives keep a close watch on the interns to make sure each girl is safe and has all the necessary items for successful travel.
  • Move Out Day: Saturday 14 July 2018

 

POST-PROGRAM:

‘Executive Access’: On top of providing language learning, cultural immersion, and career development, we give you access to executives in various fields. These experienced professionals will offer you invaluable career guidance and coaching through a 30-minute informational interview. Have a look at the executives to choose from!

PINC Alumna: Once a part of that PINC family, each member becomes part of a legacy and community of women who are there to support, guide and encourage. Each girl receives access to the private PINC Professional Facebook community. They also receive discounted rates for other group travel organizations.

 

Price and Payment

The price for the 8-week Internship Program is $6,999.00. This does NOT include flight, most food, alcohol, and any extra travel plans that are not already included in the program.

 

Once accepted into the program, we do ask for a deposit of $499.00 that will secure your spot in the course, followed by a second and final payment. Payment due dates will be stated on an invoice. These payments can be made by check, bank transfer or Venmo.
