Molly, Intern Summer 2014 – Indiana University

Molly is currently a junior at Indiana University where she is studying a major in Apparel Merchandising and a double minor in Spanish & Business. We compiled some questions for you to get to know a little more about Molly and adventurous personality!

What are you most excited about when you think of PINC?

When thinking of PINC, I am most excited about going to a place I have never been to, and meeting people from all over the world. I am also very excited to be put in positions where I am forced to use my spanish-speaking skills, because I would love to be able to communicate in a language other than my own. I am thrilled to be living outside of the U.S. for eight weeks. PINC to me is something that I do not really know what to expect of, but I know that I am going to learn more than I could possibly imagine!

Where has been your favorite place you have visited to date?

My favorite place I have ever visited to date is Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. Not only has Ocean Reef basically been my second home since only a few days after I was born, but I relax more there than anywhere else I have ever been in the world. My mom’s side always stays together there at least once per year, and although it is always crammed, it is a lot of fun to all be together.

Tell us two bucket list items that you still need to tick off.

My two bucket list items that I still need to tick off is to go skydiving and to swim with a great white shark, although I am terrified to do both of those things.

What movie or novel character do you most identify with?

I am unsure, but I am sitting with my friends right now and they say I most identify with Sandra Bullock from The Blind Side.

When are you the happiest?

I think the best times happen in the most random moments. I really enjoy being surrounded by my friends and family as often as possible.

What characteristic do you most admire in others?

I believe the most important quality in others is open-mindedness, but it is also very admirable to me when people have goals that they are serious about reaching. I appreciate when people know when to work hard and when to play hard.

If you could have coffee with one celebrity dead or alive who would it be?

Vera Wang! I am an apparel merchandising major, and I have never come across a Vera Wang piece that I did not like. I love the detail that she puts into her work.
